Citizens of the United Arab Emirates need to get an authorization code from the official MFA website (https://e_visa.mfa.ir/en/) or through an agency in Iran. The authorization code functions as an invitation letter from a host in Iran. According to our experience with our customers and the emails, we receive every week, the official website of the ministry of foreign affairs keeps you waiting for several weeks and in the end, in most cases, they ask you to apply through an agency.   2. Two passport-sized pictures
  3. Visa fee ( €100 at the airport, €80 in the embassy or consulate)

Note that if you already have travel insurance, there should be a written proof that it covers the expenses in Iran. The words “Asia” and “Middle-east” are not acceptable.
