Upon arrival to Muscat International Airport, your driver-guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel.
After unwinding for some hours, the tour will start with a visit to Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, which was built to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the reign of Sultan Qaboos.
** Note 1: To enter the Grand Mosque, women need to be dressed modestly and a headscarf should be worn. Also men are not allowed to wear shorts.
**Note 2: Lunch is self-paid.
After that you'll visit Bait Zubair Museum and Al Alam Palace. On the way back to the hotel, you can visit the Mutrah bazaar.

It's time to depart Muscat towards the southern parts of Oman to visit the turtle nesting site (2.5 hours road trip).On the way, you will visit Bimmah sinkhole and Finn Beach and enjoy lunch by yourself. Then we will drive to Sur and pass by the beautiful village of Wadi Tiwi. After checking in, we will visit Raz Al Jinz, the sea turtle reserve.

After a short visit to Sur, famed as a beautiful port city, we will first visit the Dhow building factory to see the process of building a ship. There is also a museum in the factory. You can also visit it if you are interested. After lunch, we will head to the Wahiba Sands. A picturesque oasis Wadi Bani Khalid on the way, will impress you. You will spend an unforgettable night in the desert camp.

Wake up early up to see the sunrise over the untouched sand dunes, stretching as far as the eyes can see. After breakfast, it's time to the desert and desert activities such as camel riding. Then, leave the desert towards the ancient Nizwa (2hrs), which is famous for its C17th fort, and explore it before having dinner in this beautiful town.

After having breakfast in the hotel, it's time to drive for two hours towards the historic city of Nizwa. Nizwa Fort has been built in the 17th century, and it's been a bustling outdoor market then. You will also visit the impressive Jabreen Castle in Jabrin, where the exquisite wood-carved ceiling represents the extraordinary technique and the artistic creativity of its builders. Then you will have a short stop at the World Heritage Site, Bahla Fort.

Continue your journey towards north and after passing Tanuf, follow the signs to Al Hamra and all the way to the car park above Misfat Al Abriyeen (49km). The terraced plantations below the village are a delight to wander through.

Jebel Shams, located at an altitude of more than 3,000 meters, is one of the highest points of the eastern Arabian Peninsula. These mountains are also known as the Grand Canyon of Oman, stretching for around 700 kilometers. Many beautiful and secluded valleys and fertile oases are scattered over the mountains. This morning, you will walk along the canyon's edge while enjoying its beautiful scenery. Then, you will join your driver guide for an hour to visit the beautiful hillside town of Misfah and the ancient village of Al Hamra.

Driving to Wadi Bani Auf (2hrs 15m), aka Snake Canyon, takes us via Al Hamra, along one of the most famous off-road journeys in the country, known for its spectacular views. We will not do any Wadi Bashing but will pause to wander, dip a toe / do some wading if we fancy it. Just an hour's drive takes us from Wadi Bani Auf to another charming and picturesque village, Bilad Sait, where we can take a walk and enjoy lunch. Nestled at the base of the Hajar Mountain range.
In the late afternoon, we encounter more of the stunning scenery as we head back to Muscat (a 2.5hr drive) and the hotel.

The archipelago of 9 protected Daymaniyat islands lies around 18km off the coast of Muscat. Lying totally within a Nature Reserve, they are home to an incredible abundance of marine and bird life. The crystal clear waters have ensured the area's popularity, with divers and snorkelers appreciating some of the most beautiful corals and fish to be found in the Middle East.
After a magnificent day, you'll return to Muscat to rest and prepare for your departure flight on the next day.

Depending on your departure time, you can enjoy some free time by yourself. Shop handmade souvenirs and have your last Omani coffee with dates! When it’s time to leave, a driver will drop you off at Muscat International Airport to catch your flight.

As of March 21st, 2018, e-Visa has been the only available option to enter the Sultanate of Oman for tourism purposes. The embassies no longer issue the “classic” visa in order to reduce waiting times at the embassies and airports. Since December 2020, around 100 nationalities have been exempt from visa requirements for stays of up to 14 days.

The Omani e-Visa requires entry into the country within six months of the issue date.
With a valid visa to Dubai, you can enter the Sultanate of Oman without needing any additional visas and you can stay for up to three weeks. Eligible countries: Portugal, Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, UK, Sweden, Greece, Austria, Ireland, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Belgium, Norway, Netherlands, Denmark, South Korea, Japan, Brunei, Malaysia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Vatican, Monaco, Andorra, San Marino.
The e-Visa allows one or more entries with up to 30 days of stay in Oman. In some cases, the duration of stay can be extended. Once your e-Visa is issued, you'll have six months to arrive in Oman.
Generally, e-Visas for Oman are issued within 72 hours from the time you submit your documents. This time frame is only an estimation and not something we can guarantee, as the process depends on the Sultanate’s administrative services.
