Your journey begins in Muscat, where you are welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, you explore the city’s highlights, including the grand Sultan Qaboos Mosque, the elegant Royal Opera House, and the lively Mutrah Corniche with its historic waterfront. Strolling through the traditional Mutrah Souq introduces you to Oman’s aromas, crafts, and friendly atmosphere. After breakfast, you travel along Oman’s dramatic coastline toward Sur. Your route includes a stop at the spectacular Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural limestone crater filled with turquoise water. Continuing along the coastal road, you pass charming fishing villages and scenic beaches before arriving in Sur, a peaceful maritime town famous for its wooden dhow-building heritage. Depending on timing, you may visit the dhow yard or the lighthouse area, offering beautiful views of the harbor before settling into your hotel for the night. This morning, you travel to Wadi Shab, one of Oman’s most stunning wadis. A short boat ride takes you to the start of the canyon trail, followed by a scenic hike through palm-lined paths and emerald pools. You can swim in the refreshing waters or continue deeper into the wadi to reach its hidden cave and waterfall. The experience blends light adventure with natural beauty, making it one of the highlights of your trip. After enjoying the wadi, you return to Sur for a relaxing evening. Leaving Sur behind, you head into the mountains toward Wadi Bani Khalid, famous for its wide pools of clear blue water and dramatic rock formations. You have time to swim, walk along the falaj channels, or explore the surrounding landscape. In the afternoon, the scenery shifts as you enter the desert of Wahiba Sands. Endless golden dunes rise before you, offering opportunities for dune driving, sunset photography, and camel rides. After breakfast in the desert, you leave the dunes and travel toward the cool heights of Jebel Akhdar. Known as the “Green Mountain,” this region is filled with terraced fields, dramatic cliffs, and villages perched along steep slopes. You explore viewpoints overlooking deep canyons and walk through traditional mountain settlements known for rose water production and seasonal orchards. The cooler climate and breathtaking scenery provide a sharp contrast to the desert. You then continue to your hotel on Jebel Akhdar or its surrounding area for a peaceful night. This morning, you descend from the mountains to the historic city of Nizwa, once the capital of Oman and still its cultural heart. You visit Nizwa Fort, known for its massive round tower and panoramic views of the old town, before wandering through the lively souq filled with silver crafts, pottery, and local produce. In the afternoon, you continue to Jibreen Castle, one of Oman’s most beautiful historical buildings, famous for its painted ceilings and intricate design. On your final day, you travel toward the village of Nakhal, where the impressive Nakhal Fort stands atop a rocky hill overlooking palm gardens and mountains. After exploring the castle’s towers and courtyards, you have time to visit the nearby hot springs surrounded by natural scenery. Later, you continue your drive back to Muscat, completing your journey through Oman’s coastline, mountains, desert, and cultural heartlands. You are transferred to your hotel or airport, marking the end of an unforgettable exploration of Oman’s hidden wonders.

As of March 21st, 2018, e-Visa has been the only available option to enter the Sultanate of Oman for tourism purposes. The embassies no longer issue the “classic” visa in order to reduce waiting times at the embassies and airports. Since December 2020, around 100 nationalities have been exempt from visa requirements for stays of up to 14 days.

The Omani e-Visa requires entry into the country within six months of issue date.
With a valid visa to Dubai, you can enter the Sultanate of Oman without needing any additional visas and you can stay for up to three weeks. Eligible countries: Portugal, Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, UK, Sweden, Greece, Austria, Ireland, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Belgium, Norway, Netherlands, Denmark, South Korea, Japan, Brunei, Malaysia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Vatican, Monaco, Andorra, San Marino.
The e-Visa allows one or more entries with up to 30 days of stay in Oman. In some cases, the duration of stay can be extended. Once your e-Visa is issued, you'll have six months to arrive in Oman.
Generally, e-Visas for Oman are issued within 72 hours from the time you submit your documents. This time frame is only an estimation and not something we can guarantee, as the process depends on the Sultanate’s administrative services.
